Angelina Yoo, staff with Supervisor Chan’s office, addressed the commission during the continuance calendar and asked that the item be continued “until April 3 to allow us time to finalize the language and to work with your team.” Commissioner Braun moved to continue as proposed; the motion was seconded and carried unanimously with seven aye votes.
The chair noted the continuance and then moved the agenda on to the consent calendar. No substantive debate on the merits of the amendments occurred at the March 13 hearing; the continuance preserves staff and sponsor time to refine language before a future public hearing.
