Payano emphasized the payment is made to Beacon Medical Group, not to Dr. Tiemann personally.
A county reviewer said the contract had been examined from a legal perspective and found acceptable. A motion to approve the agreement was made, seconded and approved; Commissioner Morton and Commissioner Hazen each voted "Aye," and the motion carried.
The contract continues a practice the center said has been in place for several years; the meeting record did not include start or end dates for the contract, billing schedule, or other procurement details.
