The commission approved the deadline changes as follows: item 1 to Feb. 26, 2026; item 2 to Feb. 26, 2026; item 3 to Dec. 31, 2026; item 4 to Jan. 19, 2027; and item 5 to April 1, 2026.
Commission business staff summarized the consent agenda and identified the five projects as operational-deadline extension requests. The chair moved to grant the limited waivers and extend the deadlines; Commissioners Sushman, Barbet and Richard each recorded “Aye” on the motions.
The commission’s action waived the specified provision of the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR 20.62.03.04C) for each listed project to permit the later operational dates. No conditions or follow-up reporting requirements were announced on the record.
The approvals were taken on the administrative (consent) agenda; commissioners did not engage in extended discussion about the merits of the individual projects during the meeting.
The Public Service Commission adjourned after completing the administrative agenda and indicated further business would follow in a short recess before the next matter.
