The council also voted to approve letters of recommendation supporting two separate grant applications from local businesses: Cal Canyon Coffee (for temperature control in its building) and Cal Canyon Trading Post (for gravel and parking improvements). Both motions passed unanimously.
Finally, council approved payment of the town's accounts payable report, including routine payroll, utilities and small reimbursements; the council discussed and agreed that reimbursement tied to a training exam would follow established proof-of-completion procedures before payment.
