The funding pause affects multiple programs, Emergency Management Division Chief Mike Grierson said, but “the funding is all that’s being held up right now.” Grierson and Public Safety Director Dave McDowell said local work on projects can continue, but the county will have to forward-fund costs while it waits for state and federal reimbursements.
