Public Works reports water-plant projects, tank and road work across Cherokee Nation

On water and sanitation, Lynn named the Cherokee Rural Water 11 treatment plant under construction, an expansion at Stillwell Water Treatment Plant and an expansion at a plant under J Public Works. He reported a planned connection between Cherokee Rural Water 1 and Muskogee Number 7, a new water storage tank planned for Nowata and a Delaware Rural Water 3 connection to Grove Public Works. Lynn said dates for several water-line and tank activities were tentative.
Lynn said crews would install three new restroom facilities this week: one at Lincoln Park in Wagner County, one at Pipe Springs Park in Mayes County and one at Charlie Tucker Park in the Town of Oaks; he gave tentative installation dates in March for additional sites (speaker noted dates were tentative). On roads, he said Mud Valley Road in Cherokee County was finishing punch-list work and the Lost City Loop in western Cherokee County had asphalt complete and crews were finishing shouldering, striping and signs. He also said the Bridal 22 bridge over Little Prior Creek in Rogers County is now complete.
Lynn invited questions and said staff would provide follow-up details if needed.
