Monongalia County approves updated recipients for opioid settlement grants

The commission voted to amend the opioid settlement grant budget to include those awards. A motion to approve the updated recipient list was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The staff member who presented the item said the groups had applied during the February grant round and were previously indicated to be funded from the opioid settlement; the vote formalized those allocations and authorized the necessary budget adjustment.
