County takes first reading on coroner fees ordinance, schedules second reading March 18

Commissioners asked for additional time to review the proposal and suggested modifications; the board agreed to move the ordinance forward on first reading and scheduled the second reading for March 18.
Why it matters: staff said updated coroner fees would provide additional general fund revenue and reflect costs and practices used by comparable counties. Commissioners did not adopt the ordinance on second reading at this meeting and asked for further review by staff.
