The owner said the parcel line (about a 20-foot strip by the sidewalk) had been recorded incorrectly and that a quick claim deed had been returned by the county recorder pending the required subdivision-amendment plat under Utah state code. Councilmembers directed the owner to appear before the land-use council for approval and noted that city staff would place the item on a future land-use agenda.
The council approved a motion to vacate the lot as presented, conditional on land-use approval, and asked the owner to bring the recorded documents back so staff could finalize signatures.
