Councilmember Jimmy Paluso said he filed legislation intended to accelerate drainage system rehabilitation projects that are already scoped and listed on the city's DSR (drainage system rehabilitation) list. Paluso said the change would allow the Department of Public Works to begin eligible projects once Council approves a pot of money in the budget, rather than requiring project-level council approval for each job.
"I filed the bill, it's number 20 20 five-one 46," Paluso said at the meeting.
