Ramsey County commissioners voted to process homestead and mobile‑home tax refunds on a consolidated basis following state reconciliation of consolidated figures.
County tax director Lisa (last name not specified in the record) reported that the state shorted the county by $6,069.84 on the consolidated distribution and that staff completed manual adjustments for 21 parcels. The county has 79 mobile-home refunds to process; the tax director recommended refunds calculated on the consolidated figure that the county downloaded from the state. Commissioners approved the recommendation by motion and second.
Staff said mobile-home owners will still be required to pay current-year taxes by the March 31 deadline and would receive refunds the following year (for 2025 mobile-home refunds to be paid in June 2026). County staff will locate recipients and issue individual checks to mobile-home owners.
