Repairs continue at 45 West Main Street; city staff temporarily relocated after pipe rupture

Public works is coordinating with Otis, the elevator company, and waiting for ordered parts to arrive before elevator work can resume.
Council members and the acting administrator also noted that, because of a prior water-pipe rupture at the city offices on Main Street, staff were temporarily relocated and the council was meeting at the Carroll Arts Center while repairs continue. No timeline for full re-occupancy was given; staff said furniture will be moved back into offices as carpets are cleaned and spaces are ready.
