He revisited a project that encroached into wetlands near Elk Creek and said he had walked the construction site and provided labor to put up a fence, clarifying "nobody owes me any money for expenses." He told the council he and another person, Hart, met with staff including John Burke and that staff "came out, met me last week" and that they would "keep an eye on them." Fenimore also said the creek was flowing at about half its prior rate.
Fenimore raised questions about a federal highway project and median improvements, referring to a paving job that he said would run from "90 second and go all the way down to I 70" and that he had contacted CDOT about whether median improvements could be completed before fresh asphalt is laid. He said he had not received a clear answer from CDOT.
Fenimore also criticized conditions at a park he described as "the park at 70 Third Lowell," saying the site had "not 1 plant" and was mostly gravel and tree trimmings. He said park staff told him there was no budget to enhance the park and contrasted that with his understanding that $42,000 had been spent on a party. Fenimore did not provide documents to substantiate the $42,000 figure during his comments.
Fenimore thanked the council and staff and said he appreciated the follow-up from city staff members who visited the site.
