Boca Raton council selects deputy mayor, CRA leaders and committee representatives at organizational meeting

The Boca Raton City Council at its organizational meeting Monday, March 31, 2025, selected Council member Fran Nacklis as deputy mayor and approved leadership and representative appointments to the Community Redevelopment Agency and several interlocal and regional committees.

Mayor Singer opened the 10 a.m. session by noting the meeting fell on the anniversary of the council members' swearing-in and saying, "this is the anniversary when all of us were actually sworn in for our first full terms, and it remains an honor to serve with all of you." The council then took a series of routine organizational votes.
