Mayor nominates Brandon de Graffenreid as civilian review board alternate; final action deferred

Council did not take a formal vote during the work meeting. Staff indicated that final action on the nomination would occur at the regular meeting later that evening, and no motion or vote was recorded in the work session minutes.
The civilian review board is a standing body that reviews complaints and policies related to civilian interactions with city law enforcement; the work meeting presentation gave council members the opportunity to review the candidate’s materials before the regular meeting where the council is scheduled to act.
