Community member urges full special education audit, says program out of compliance

Levitti said she has raised concerns repeatedly with district staff and that Assistant Superintendent Moore and others have not adequately responded. She identified gaps she said are visible in district communications and newsletters and asserted the district’s special education services are among the poorest-run programs in Arizona. She said she previously served as a director of special education and invoked her experience to press for immediate review.
