The applicant listed on the agenda is Charles R. Clatterbuck, GST Exempt Trust; the project is identified as case Z-2502-02 and is generally located at Normandy Boulevard and Grenoble Drive. Planning staff told the commission that the applicant's engineer requested a 30-day continuance because they were still working through engineering issues and were not ready to present that evening. "No updates," a Planning Department staff member said when asked for changes to the staff report.
Public testimony was invited but none was offered. Commissioner Yoder moved to approve the request for continuance; Commissioner Ackley seconded. The motion carried on a voice vote. Planning staff confirmed the item will return to the commission on April 24, 2025; because the application will not go to City Council at this time, the commission will take it up again on that date.
Earlier in the meeting the commission approved the minutes of its Feb. 27, 2025 regular meeting (motion by Commissioner Ackley; second by Commissioner Lassenberg) and accepted into the record all staff reports, attachments, memos and handouts related to agenda applications (motion by Commissioner Yoder; second by Commissioner Lassenberg). Both procedural motions passed with all voting in favor. The meeting adjournment motion passed with Commissioner Bennett moving and Commissioner Lassenberg seconding; Commissioner Ackley recorded an abstention on the adjournment vote and the motion carried.
The public hearing continuance preserves the commission's opportunity to review the final engineering materials and to hear any public testimony at the next scheduled hearing on April 24. The case number is Z-2502-02; additional application materials and staff reports are on file with the Bellevue Planning Department.
