Mount Hebron students report 50th canned-food drive, Pi Day fundraiser for crisis counseling

The student report said the drive involved leadership classes, National Honor Society, Best Buddies and community volunteers, and that several school groups packaged and delivered items. The SGA also raised $2,400 through a Pi Day fundraiser; the students said that amount funds 24 hours of counseling services from the Grassroots Crisis Counseling Center.
Student leaders previewed an upcoming cultural celebration, Hebron Fest, and outlined continuing student-led staff appreciation efforts. Board members and Superintendent Barnes praised the students’ service and turnout during a brief Q&A.
