Council members emphasized the importance of fair indemnity provisions; the city attorney rewrote the indemnification section to be reciprocal, and staff reported the contractor accepted the change.
The contractor identified in the packet is Census Rad Trails, a 501(c)(3), with Tyler McCall and another contractor named Cody noted as project leads. Councilman Thomas moved to approve the agreement; Councilman Hershey seconded the motion and the council voiced approval.
Council members observed the contract is consistent with funds already approved in the budget and thanked staff and the attorney for the revisions that made the agreement acceptable to both parties.
