Several residents described years of noise, parking problems and a concentration of liquor sellers within a small area of the West Side. “I stand before you as a person of lived experience and generations in protector of the community,” said Rachel Parker, an enrolled member of the Omaha Tribe who lives nearby, urging the council to deny the license.
