House corrects funding destination for Scott County corridor, allows Shakopee to fund bridge lighting

The amendment also “adds the authority for Shakopee to light the active transportation bridge over 169,” and Bakeberg said the cost of that lighting would be the responsibility of the city of Shakopee.
Bakeberg said the corridor is an important commercial route and urged colleagues to support the technical correction. The amendment (coded DEA202) was adopted on the floor, and the bill, as amended, was read a third time and passed. The clerk recorded “132 yays and 0 nays.”
