Chemeketa Community College contract amendment (I2) The board approved Amendment 1 to the contract with Chemeketa Community College to modify the funding distribution for the college’s early childhood education development program, effective upon full execution through Dec. 31, 2026 (Board Order 24-066). The college described plans to redistribute funds to boost recruitment and retention, increase stipends and provide free childcare for participants; the college reported 12 enrolled and 10 completers in the pilot cohort. The motion passed unanimously.
Oregon Health Authority public-health amendment (I3) The board approved Amendment No. 15 to Agreement No. 180033 between Yamhill County and the Oregon Health Authority for public-health services, replacing program element descriptions with Program Elements Number 2, Cities Readiness Initiative (CRI), effective retroactive to Feb. 1, 2025 (Board Order 23-260). The motion passed unanimously.
Consent agenda The board approved the consent agenda without discussion; the motion passed unanimously.
Postponed items The board postponed consideration of the parks-code amendment and several solid-waste funding authorization forms to its April 3 meeting; one staff member was out sick and the parks item had been placed on an earlier agenda in error.
