One trustee moved to approve the two-year contract with a stipulation that the first-year payment of $6,900 not be billed until after June 1, 2025 (fiscal 2025'26). Another trustee seconded that motion. The board approved the contract with that stipulation by voice vote.
Board members noted the system provides a monitoring dashboard that reports faults automatically so vendor crews can respond without a manual call in many cases; they also said response for non-emergency outages can take one to three weeks.
The board did not record a roll-call vote; approval was by voice vote with the agreed pay delay to align with the fiscal year.
