The bill was presented as simple and noncontroversial; Representative Long said the prior change should have adjusted minority leadership pay from three to six but had only adjusted majority leadership. Chair Cleavorn asked if anyone in the public wished to testify; there were no public speakers, and the committee laid the bill over for possible inclusion.
