El Paso County commissioners excuse Bremer, approve land-use consent calendar

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners voted 4-0 Thursday, March 27, to excuse Commissioner Bremer from the meeting and to approve the land-use consent calendar items 6a through 6c during its Land Use meeting.
County staff announced that Commissioner Bremer was traveling during spring break with her family and asked for a motion to excuse her. A motion to excuse Commissioner Bremer was moved and seconded and passed on a roll call vote: Commissioner Wysong — aye; Commissioner Applegate — aye; Vice Chair Williams — aye; Chair — aye. Commissioner Bremer was absent from the meeting.
Later on the agenda, a motion to approve the land-use consent calendar (items 6a–6c) was made and seconded. The board held no public comment on the consent calendar. The roll call vote was 4-0 in favor: Wysong — aye; Applegate — aye; Williams — aye; Chair — aye.
Meeting staff reported no staff emergency items, no called-up consent items, and no department committee nonaction reports. The board also indicated there was no need for an executive session that day. The board noted its next Land Use meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, at 9 a.m.
The meeting was then adjourned.
