North Providence School Committee approves 2025-26 calendar, cafeteria renovation contracts, prom bookings and transportation resolution

The North Providence School Committee voted to approve the 2025–2026 academic calendar and a series of contracts and routine items during its meeting. The panel also approved a resolution supporting statewide and private-school transportation changes promoted by the Rhode Island School Committee Association and the Rhode Island Superintendents Association.

The committee approved the academic calendar after Superintendent Gojo requested committee approval, saying, “I would request approval by the school committee of the submitted 20 20 five-twenty 26 school year academic calendar.” The motion passed with members voting in favor; no recorded roll-call names were given in the transcript.
