Regarding the $3,500 alum donation to Proviso West, staff said the donor had attempted to give the funds earlier and had not received an answer; the district characterized this as another example of communication gaps that the superintendent’s proposed ticketing system would address. Staff said they would work with the school to identify an appropriate use for the alum’s donation.
Staff will bring the IGA to the board for action and will coordinate the grant‑reimbursement paperwork with Melrose Park as required by the IGA terms.
