The Wagner Public Works Authority trustees on March 26 voted to accept a bid and enter into a contract with Sandyland Environmental LLC for $63,000 to remove residuals from a pond at the water plant.
Staff told trustees the company currently performing work at the plant submitted the low bid and that a significant portion of the cost is mobilization; because the contractor is already on site, the authority obtained a favorable price to clean the second pond. Trustees approved the contract on a roll call vote.
Action: Motion to accept the bid and enter into a contract with Sandyland Environmental LLC for $63,000 passed on roll call (yes votes recorded from Wright, Butler, Hagenbottom, Wagner, North, Sampson, Abernathy, Wagoner).
