Dan Kitzberger, legislative director for Minnesota Housing, testified in support and noted sections of the bill had been under prior consideration in committee and were being advanced in this omnibus vehicle.
Members thanked the sponsor and Minnesota Housing staff; discussion was brief and technical. Representative Reararo renewed her motion that House File 2,309 be laid over for possible inclusion; the committee did not take a final vote on any provision during the hearing.
