Marshall seeks $795,000 from Legacy Fund to replace structurally unsound Liberty Park bandshell

Stensrude said the bandshell is used frequently for performing arts, religious services, plays, weddings and community events and sits at the heart of downtown Liberty Park. The mayor and park superintendent asked the committee to consider the replacement request for the next legacy package.
A committee member asked whether the project was also pursuing state bonding; Representative Swazinski replied it was not at this time. No formal committee vote or appropriation was recorded in the hearing transcript.
