CWDB confirms 2025 meeting dates, member orientation plans and passes minutes approval

Staff reminded members of the CWDB's 2025 meeting schedule: the executive committee meets May 14 and Aug. 13, and full board meetings are scheduled for March 26 (today), June 25 and Sept. 24. Staff said meeting dates were confirmed in a December 6 letter to members.
Brooke Barnum Roberts summarized a November 2024 member survey that found strong interest in committee participation and in-person meetings, and staff said they will assemble an orientation guide and expectations document for new and existing members to be distributed ahead of the next full board meeting.
Members asked about travel reimbursement and attendance rules. Staff said travel may be coordinated for executive-committee members and that all board members are eligible for reasonable travel reimbursements to attend board meetings. Members were encouraged to contact a designated staff member (Miranda) to coordinate travel.
Separately, the board moved to approve the Oct. 23, 2024 full board meeting summary; the minutes passed by roll call (final tally reported as 20 votes in favor).
