DPFC staff on March 25 reported progress across the agency's project pipeline: seven properties are now leasing and the organization has surpassed 1,000 leased units across its portfolio.
Sam told the board three properties visited that day moved the count closer to more than 1,000 units leasing. Staff said four additional properties were in the application stage and that two of those were likely to file in the near term; two more projects were expected to come online in the second quarter.
Staff highlighted several projects with near-term movement, including what was described as a power-and-light project expected to proceed and Blockhouse Santa Fe, which staff hoped to move to full approval by the end of the next month. The board discussed that some projects granted full approval in May 2023 might need additional time or resubmission because of intervening legislation and documentation issues.
No formal board action was taken; staff said they would continue to shepherd projects through approval and contracting processes and report back on leasing and revenue timing.
