The Dallas Public Facilities Corporation board on March 25 approved a preliminary 2025 budget in a roll-call vote and accepted the minutes from its Feb. 25 meeting.
The board’s preliminary 2025 budget was moved by Director Mark Holmes and seconded by Director Tallis. During a roll-call the following board members were recorded as voting in favor: Scott Hansel, Stacy Marshall, Ronald Stinson, Brian Blankenship, Victor Toledo, Ken Montgomery, Mark Holmes, Allen Dallas, Devin Winters, Laurel Stone and Keith Palmkoff. Board staff described the document as a baseline that could change as policy and bylaw updates proceed.
The minutes from the Feb. 25 meeting were approved earlier in the session after a motion by Director Ronald Stinson and a second by Director Tallis. The board used a voice vote for that approval.
The board’s chair noted the preliminary nature of the budget and that staffing and operational timing could alter final numbers. Director Holmes said the finance committee had tried to project likely revenue and costs but cautioned that items such as payroll and rent timing remained uncertain.
No board member recorded a vote against the preliminary budget during the roll call. The chair declared the item approved and moved the meeting on to other business.
The meeting concluded with a standard adjournment motion and second and the board adjourned the March 25 session.
