Planning Commission elects chair and vice chair; approves minutes and consent calendar

At the start of the March 24 meeting the Dana Point Planning Commission conducted its reorganization and appointed commissioners to leadership roles.
A commissioner moved to appoint Commissioner Bowen as vice chair; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. A subsequent motion advanced Eric Nelson from vice chair to chair; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The roll call earlier in the meeting noted Commissioner Chris Dettke was not present.
The commission approved the minutes from the March 10, 2025 meeting and approved the single item on the consent calendar by one motion and voice vote. There were no public comments during the public comment portion of the agenda.
The commission adjourned to its next regular meeting scheduled for April 14 at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers.
