Manager and staff said right-of-way acquisition for Phase 1 is complete for 53 parcels and that staff will seek reimbursement for right-of-way costs where applicable.
The manager also noted site review for upcoming light-industrial projects and highlighted the town’s continuing ADA work to improve accessibility. He praised the parks and recreation department for organizing an "Abilities in Action" event that included adapted sports and activities for children with disabilities and listed participating community partners.
Staff said they will share additional scheduling details for Phase 1 once final steps are set and that they will return to council with any necessary procurement or construction timelines in future meetings.
