County seeks volunteer to fill alternate seat on Lake Region Solid Waste Authority board

County staff asked commissioners and residents to recommend Osage County residents, organizations or companies that have a demonstrated commitment to solid-waste or recycling outreach and are willing to serve as the county’s alternate representative. No appointment was made that night; staff said they would accept nominations and forward them to the authority.
Commissioners noted there were no formal qualifications required for the alternate position and asked that interested parties contact county staff for more information and the application or contact details provided by the authority.
