Methacton School District special education leaders gave the board a data-driven update on the district’s mental health services on March 25, describing how school counselors, core teams, contract clinicians and targeted programs combine to deliver services across K–12.
Dr. Gravinese (Dr. Gravinese on the transcript), who presented the update, said the district currently has 14 school counselors, a career counselor and a climate counselor; four full‑time school psychologists on staff and contracts to supplement those services (two full‑time and six part‑time outside psychologists); and a district social worker who coordinates family and community support.
