Weare School Board approves routine items: chair, vice chair, policies, Panorama survey and a resignation

At its March 25 meeting the Weare School Board conducted routine reorganizational and consent business, approving a set of policy updates and several administrative items by voice votes.
The board approved a motion to continue Christine as chair and to elect Sarah as vice chair. The nominations were made from the floor and approved by voice vote; an abstention was recorded during the chair vote but individual tallies were not read aloud.
The board took several consent items together. Policy updates to conform to Title 9 changes were presented as mandatory revisions and placed on a consent agenda; the board voted to accept the consent agenda. The board also approved moving forward with this year’s Panorama survey of students (grades 3–12), staff and families; staff presented the survey as the district’s third annual Panorama administration and said results would be used to track climate and align with the strategic plan.
Minutes for the Feb. 5 regular meeting and the Feb. 18 public hearing were approved by voice vote. The board accepted the resignation of Megan Lipry; the acceptance motion passed by voice vote.
At the end of the meeting the board voted to enter nonpublic session under New Hampshire RSA 91‑A:3 II for certified staff nominations.
Many of these items were handled with minimal debate and described by staff as required updates or standard annual business.
