Because the issue involves contract scope, manufacturer warranty requirements and potential additional costs, the board scheduled a special meeting — proposed for Thursday at 10 a.m. — for the contractor, consulting firm and county maintenance staff to review the conditions onsite and attempt to resolve the warranty dispute.
Separately, commissioners approved Continental Restoration’s application for payment (Application #1) in the amount of $128,004 for exterior courthouse waterproofing work. The payment leaves a retention balance of approximately $14,002.67 to be held until final completion or warranty resolution.
