Court approves procurement, claims and transfers; extends Millville sewer-line RFP timeline

The Woodford County Fiscal Court approved a series of routine finance, procurement and facility-use items, including an extension of the RFP timeline for engineering services on the Millville sewer-line project, ratifications of claims and transfers, approval of an EMS out-of-state travel request for warranty repairs, and an amended resolution setting the county’s budgeted amount for nonpublic school bus transportation at $15,000.

On the Millville sewer-line project, the court approved a request to extend the request-for-proposals advertisement by two additional weeks and to run one more advertisement; the motion was presented to ensure firms have adequate time to prepare proposals for engineering services.

The court ratified an earlier email approval of a PMC Bank claim for $14,594.11, and ratified an email approval for a Visa claim and an Axon Enterprises Inc. claim of $7,604.28 for the sheriff’s office (the Visa amount in the minutes is recorded as $2,570.07). The court also approved transfers and noted it may use email approvals near quarter-end for some future transfers.

Director of EMS requested out-of-state travel to transport a county vehicle to the manufacturer’s factory for warranty repairs; the manufacturer will reimburse travel costs and ship the vehicle back after repairs. The court approved the out‑of‑state travel request.

The court approved an amended resolution reflecting the budgeted amount of $15,000 for transportation of nonpublic school children for the 2024–25 year, and approved facility use of Falling Springs Recreation Center and Community Stadium for the May 24, 2025 project-graduation event for the county’s high school seniors.
