The visitor-center team printed and distributed about 65,000 brochures in 2024 and 10,000 updated road maps; the bureau also continued a passport program that added three new passports in 2024, including a waterways passport aimed at public access to lakes and rivers.
The bureau noted several earned media placements in publications such as Midwest Living and Bridal Indiana and said it had placed paid advertising in about 11 publications. Corey also thanked the county for continuing to host a digital message sign at the visitor center and said the bureau had posted nearly 200 messages on that sign promoting health and community events.
Corey requested continued commissioner support for the bureau's programs; commissioners expressed appreciation for the tourism work and its economic effects.
