Board adopts K–12 science instructional materials after extended public review

The Pinellas County School Board on March 20, 2025 approved the district’s K–12 science instructional materials for adoption after a public-review process, the district said.

Chief Academic Officer Danica Jones and instructional materials coordinator Megan Frey presented the item and recognized the review committees’ work. Board member Caprice Edmond thanked staff for the transparent process and the extended public access to materials. The motion to adopt passed 7–0.
