The Lake Oswego Planning Commission on March 24, 2025 approved findings, conclusions and an order for the Community Development Code 2024–25 annual amendments, LU 24-0029, directing staff to forward the documents to the City Council as drafted.
Chair Mitchell moved to approve the findings “as written,” and a commissioner seconded; chair Mitchell recorded the affirmative vote and commissioners present voted in favor. The commission’s action will send the finalized findings and order to the City Council for its consideration.
The packet that commissioners approved was distributed prior to the meeting for review. The approval closes the Planning Commission’s review stage for the annual CDC amendments and creates the record to accompany referral to the City Council. No amendments to the draft findings were offered during the meeting.
The action was recorded during the March 24 meeting under agenda item 6.1 and will appear on the City Council docket according to the commission’s standard transmittal practice.
The commission’s consent to the findings follows the annual code‑amendment process that accompanies the city’s Community Development Code maintenance and implementation work.
No public comment or substantive debate on the contents of the draft findings occurred during the approval; commissioners who participated affirmed the motion and the chair closed the item.
