Parks and Recreation staff reported they received two sealed bids to replace a 2008 rooftop water-source heat pump at the Milner Center. The bids were: Matrix Mechanical LLC for $83,698 and Cookeville Heating and Cooling LLC for $75,800. The replacement was included in the current capital budget with an $80,000 allocation.
After reviewing the bids and warranty terms—both bidders offered a one-year warranty—staff recommended awarding the work to Cookeville Heating and Cooling LLC for $75,800. Committee members moved and seconded a motion to forward the recommendation to the full board; the committee approved the recommendation and will present it for formal award at the board meeting.
