The committee directed staff to remove the failing pothole areas, report findings and cost estimates at the next meeting, and to delay final approval of a full paving contract until subsurface issues are understood.
The committee also recorded that weather will affect the start date; staff said work could begin as soon as next week if conditions hold. The committee adjourned after instructing staff to return with updates.
