The McMinnville Board of Zoning approved a special exception for a proposal to build attached single-family dwellings on a parcel on Hobson Street.
Applicant Michael Rollech described the proposal as "14 units," and said the development would be attached single-family dwellings. City staff member Sean described the site as "about 1.25 acre parcel" with a creek on the southern portion requiring a setback buffer and said stormwater requirements had been addressed. Sean told the board the staff recommended approval.
A board member moved to approve the special exception, another board member seconded, and the motion carried by voice vote. Michael Rollech said he hoped the units would be completed "hopefully this year." The board did not record additional conditions or a permit timeline in the portion of the transcript that was read aloud at the meeting.
Staff and the applicant discussed setbacks, buffers related to the creek and stormwater requirements; staff reported those requirements would be applied as part of the project review.
