East Penn School District honored as a "Great PA School" by Pennsylvania School Boards Association

The designation, Orahek added, reflects the district's combination of curriculum that challenges students, inclusive extracurriculars and systems for emergency preparedness and mental-health supports. "This achievement is an opportunity for East Penn School District to promote public education excellence within your community," she said.
Dr. Campbell accepted the recognition on behalf of the district and emphasized that the award reflects the work of district employees. Dr. Campbell said the designation is "on behalf of an amazing school community and employees" and noted the district's roughly 1,200 employees who serve a range of roles in the schools. The PSBA representative presented a banner and a box of promotional materials the district may display and use during celebrations.
Board members and administrators paused the regular agenda for a short photo opportunity with the PSBA banner. No formal action was required or taken to accept the designation beyond the presentation and remarks; the district indicated it will display the banner at a location of its choosing.
