- Z-2882 (520 Lehigh/Colvin Street rezone): Commission recommended a positive action on the zoning map amendment to the Common Council following seeker (negative SEQRA) review.
- SP-25-08 / MASPR-25-2 (718 Erie Blvd West): Commission issued a SEQR negative declaration for both the special-use permit and the major site plan review and recommended both items to the Common Council (SP-25-08 with six additional staff conditions; MASPR-25-2 with seven conditions).
- Syracuse Housing Strategy Implementation Urban Renewal Plan (SURA): Commission issued a SEQR negative declaration; staff and commission discussion affirmed plan’s consistency with the comprehensive plan and directed administrative follow-up (no final council action required from the commission at this hearing).
- Syracuse University Waverly and Comstock Residence Halls: Commission adopted a SEQR negative declaration (coordinated review for both projects) and approved staff-prepared resolution to that effect; projects will return for project-plan review and permitting.
- Syracuse Development Center: Commission recommended rezoning the site to a Plan Development District (Z-2885) to the Common Council (conditioned on district-plan filing), recommended approval of the district plan (Z-2884) to the Common Council with three staff conditions (and a friendly amendment to list telecommunications as an allowed accessory use), and approved the preliminary planning plan (R-2505) by commission action.
- 3-Mile Limit (Town of Salina, 1019 Cold Springs Rd, 3S-253): Approved; City Engineering reviewed and recommended approval.
Several items required follow-up: staff-directed photographic verification of CPTED/site improvements for the parking-lot and special-use applications, recorded easements for the Erie Boulevard project, engineering submissions for the Development Center preliminary plat, and construction-staging plans for Syracuse University projects. The commission advised staff to assist applicants with site inspections and to work with departments to finalize engineering and permitting comments prior to final approvals.
