Aurora council agrees to send letter urging SBA to locate office in Aurora

He said he had received responses from most council members and asked whether the mayor and other interested council members could sign the letter. "Our council rules say that this actually has to be presented in study session, can't be done over email," Agarwal said.
The mayor asked if there was any objection to moving forward with the letter; seeing none, council gave direction to proceed and to send the letter to the SBA in Washington, D.C., with signatures from the mayor and any council members who wish to sign.
Council did not take a roll-call vote in study session; the transcript records consensus to proceed and staff direction to transmit the signed letter to the SBA.
