Math curriculum adoption
The board approved teacher-recommended materials for district mathematics instruction. For kindergarten through fifth grade, elementary teachers selected McGraw Hill’s Reveal Math because it includes spiral review, digital resources and manipulatives, the presentation said. Middle grades (6–8) teachers chose Accelerate Learning’s Math Nation series for its standards alignment and tutorial videos. High-school course adoptions varied by course and level: Accelerate Learning Math Nation and Pearson/Savvas (Envision) selections were recommended for honors and college-prep courses across geometry, algebra and precalculus options, and AP-level texts were recommended for AP calculus and statistics.
